Terms & Conditions – Queenfan.nl

1. General
These terms govern your use of queenfan.nl and any purchases made through it. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Queenfan.nl is a Dutch business; Dutch law and EU consumer regulations apply.
2. Your Account
On first purchase, you create an account with your delivery details and email address. Your email serves as your login. Account data is stored securely — see our Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
3. Ordering
- Orders are confirmed by email upon receipt.
- A second email is sent when your order is dispatched.
- We aim to dispatch within 1–3 working days. Dutch law permits up to 30 days; if we cannot fulfill within that period, we will notify you and offer a full refund.
- Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Changes do not affect confirmed orders.
- If we cannot fulfill your complete order, shipping costs will be adjusted accordingly.
4. Pricing & Stock Errors
We take care to ensure pricing and stock accuracy. However:
- If an item shows as in stock but is no longer available after payment, we will refund you in full promptly.
- If a pricing error occurs on our end, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund before dispatch. We will notify you immediately.
- You will always be refunded in full in these cases. We are not liable beyond the refund amount.
5. Currencies & Payment
Prices are displayed in EUR. We offer indicative prices in other currencies for reference; your order is always charged in EUR at the prevailing rate. Exchange rates are updated regularly but are indicative only.
Payment by credit card is not currently available. Accepted payment methods are listed at checkout.
6. Shipping & Postage
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and added to your order total. Some international orders may require separate shipping confirmation by email before dispatch.
Shipments outside the EU may be subject to local import duties and taxes. These are the buyer's responsibility. Queenfan.nl has no control over and is not liable for such charges.
7. EU Right of Withdrawal (Herroepingsrecht)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers in the EU have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, notify us at sales@queenfan.nl within 14 days of delivery. Return the item in original condition within a further 14 days. We will refund the item price within 14 days of receiving the return. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent.
This right does not apply to custom-made or personalized items.
8. Cookies
Our shopping cart uses a session cookie solely to store basket contents. No personal data is stored in this cookie. It is deleted when your order is complete, or manually via the "Empty Basket" link. See our Privacy Policy for full cookie details.
9. Copyright
All content on queenfan.nl — including text, images, graphics, design, source code, and databases — is owned by or licensed to Queenfan. All rights reserved.
You may electronically copy or print content solely for personal, non-commercial use or for placing an order. Any other use — including reproduction, redistribution, broadcasting, or publication — requires prior written permission from Queenfan. We actively monitor for unauthorized use of our content and images.
10. Liability
Queenfan.nl is not liable for:
- Loss or damage caused by third-party shipping carriers
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website
- Temporary unavailability of the website due to technical issues
Our liability is in all cases limited to the value of the order in question.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Dutch courts. EU consumers retain the right to seek redress through their local consumer protection bodies or via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
